The globally recognised entry certification. In three days go from beginner to certified to 18m.
The perfect entry into scuba and a globally recognised, lifetime certification. In just three days you go from beginner to certified Open Water Diver, able to dive to 18m anywhere in the world. Day 1 covers theory and confined-water skills; days 2 and 3 are four open-water dives around Tenerife. Groups stay at 2 to 4 students so you get plenty of personal coaching.

Your first day starts with the dive theory online or in person. Then you move into shallow, calm water for your very first underwater breaths. You'll practise mask clearing, regulator recovery, and basic buoyancy. No rushing, everyone learns at their own pace.

Your first two real ocean dives in Tenerife's crystal-clear Atlantic waters, down to a maximum of 12 metres. Volcanic rock formations, tropical fish, moray eels and octopus all around you. Your instructor is right by your side the whole time, building your confidence dive by dive.

Your final two dives and your confidence is already there. You've seen the ocean, you know how it feels, and today you prove it. Complete your certification dives and by the end of the day you'll hold your SSI Open Water Diver card, a lifetime qualification valid at dive centres all over the world.
No experience is needed at all. This course is designed specifically for complete beginners.
You need to be able to swim 200 metres and float on the surface for 10 minutes. No specific swimming style is required. Minimum age is 12.
Yes. It's a lifetime qualification accepted at dive centres around the world, from Thailand to the Maldives to the Caribbean.
This is one of the most common questions we get. Your instructor stays right by your side and always adapts to your pace, never rushing or pressuring you.
Everything: your SSI digital manual, full scuba equipment, dive computer, certification fees, diving insurance, and all four open-water dives. No hidden costs.
Safety comes first. If conditions aren't right on your course day, we reschedule or move to a sheltered alternative site.
Flying before diving is fine. After your last dive, wait at least 18 to 24 hours before flying home.
