A shorter entry-level certification: dive to 12m with a professional. Upgrades to Open Water.
A great option if you are short on time. You cover the core scuba skills in confined and open water and earn a certification to dive to 12m with a dive professional. It counts directly toward the full Open Water Diver rating whenever you are ready to continue.

Your first day starts with the dive theory, learning the basics of scuba diving, your equipment and how to stay safe underwater. Then you move into calm, shallow confined water to take your very first underwater breaths and practise essential skills. In the afternoon you head straight into the Atlantic Ocean for your first real open water dive to 12 metres. An unforgettable day from start to finish.

Your final two open water dives in Tenerife's crystal clear Atlantic waters. You will explore volcanic rock formations, tropical fish, moray eels and octopus as you put your new skills into practice. By the end of Day 2 you will hold your SSI Scuba Diver certification, a lifetime qualification that lets you dive with a professional anywhere in the world. And if you want to go further, upgrading to the full Open Water Diver certification is easy!
Scuba Diver is the first half of the Open Water course. It takes 2 days and qualifies you to dive to 12 metres accompanied by a professional.
